Roof Armor DTM (Direct to Metal) has been specially formulated by our chemists for optimal bonding to both new and old metal buildings. Roof Armor DTM is a 100% solids Hybrid Polyurea protective coating that has been developed for the expansion and contraction of metal roofing.
Roof Armor Acrylic is a cost effective way to seal SPF foam and protect it from harmful UV rays. Roof Armor Acrylic is a high-solids, heat-resistant, and single-component water borne acrylic elastomeric coating sprayed with an airless sprayer.
Roof Armor Silicone is a cost effective way to seal existing roofs with or without SPF substrate. Roof Armor Silicone is a single-component silicone elastomer to protect roofing from weather and moisture. A second colored topcoat is then applied.
Roof Armor Heat Shield is a two component spray-in-place rigid monolithic 3.0pcf close cell foam that is used extensively as a superior thermal insulation and waterproofing product for new and remedial roofing.
You do not need to be licensed and certified. For commercial polyurea roof coatings you should be trained to spray, as you'll need a proportioner and full spray rig set up. Single component coatings like acrylic and silicone only require a Graco single pump sprayer, no license.
Yes you can greatly extend the life of your metal roof by spraying a protective coating over it. This is an effective way to protect against failed paint, rust, and seals around metal roofing screws. Just make sure the surface is clean of debris, oils, and moisture.
Roof Armor product can be sprayed over flat asphalt roofing system for a retro-fit roof upgrade or waterproofing repair.
