Polysource Industries has been training spray foam installers for over 20 years. Our commitment to the development installers and companies in the industry is unmatched. In Canada, the building code requires that spray foam installers be certified in accordance with the CAN/ULC s705.2.
Polysource Industries offers monthly spray foam certification courses. Check out class dates and be sure to check back as new dates and locations get added periodically.
Most Spray Foam Certification Courses are 2 to 3 days long. The courses will cover safety and handling of the spray foam chemical, understanding of the different types of foam, substrate prep and dispensing equipment and a number of other topics. Our certification courses are facilitated and supported by industry professionals who will have the knowledge to speak from personal and real world applications.
At Polysource Industries, all of our spray foam applicator certification courses include third party testing.
All chemical manufacturers in Canada are required to have their quality assurance programs run by third party’s. As such, to acquire a valid spray foam installers license in Canada, students must be tested by a third party testing agency after the certification course. Polysource Industries partners with UFC Urethane Foam Consultants for third party testing. Other third parties include CUFCA and Calibre.

Yes. In Canada you must be certified to purchase spray foam chemicals that are certified under the building code.
The certification is good for 5 years. If you are newly certified, you may have to renew your card online yearly for the first 5 years.
