Designed for urethanes, epoxies, and silicones ranging from low to very high viscosity, the valve provides clean ON/OFF control without metering, ensuring consistent material delivery when paired with external metering pumps. The dual hardened stainless steel spool shafts and front lip seal design allow accurate flow control while minimizing wear in abrasive or filled materials. A built-in snuff-back adjustment retracts material at shutoff, preventing drool or stringing at the
mixer tip and improving bead quality. Rated up to 3,500 psi (235 bar), the Nordson 450 Series Autovalve Gun supports Series 160 disposable static mixers and is available in aluminum or stainless steel configurations. Multiple seal and manifold options allow the valve to be configured for chemical compatibility, ratio requirements, and production environments, including stationary, robotic, or handheld applications, for use with
